Big Brother really is watching. Most do not know it though. They use their PC on the internet, and cannot be without their cell phone. At least we could go back to analog phones and cell phones and make it more difficult for Big Brother to trace us, and have better audio quality also.

Working in a college library, I spend a lot of time performing searches for a stunningly random variety of subjects. I often wonder what the Big Brother Bots think of me. What kind of twisted, self-indulgent addictions can they try to foist upon me? What does my consumer victimization profile look like?

A few of my students did research on gun laws this semester, which means they had to look up guns on search engines. Put them on a list.

I watched the latest Terminator film last night. It’s all about how new films fail to recapture the 1980s, the heyday for bad haircuts and good writing.
