A little advice, Amigos: avoid all roads in Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
We’re in Shawnee, Oklahoma right now. Stayed the night. Last night we stayed in Birmingham, Alabama. Pretty country, but bad roads in the Deep South. Luckily, the typewriters seem to be safe. Several are strapped in seatbelts in the Corolla I’m hauling behind the truck. If all goes as planned, we’ll be in Gallup this evening.
P.S. We got our COVID test results a couple of days ago. All positive. I always ace a test. It’s been more than a month since the first symptoms. Still wearing masks and gloves–to protect all of these people who think it’s a hoax.

Yeah, I thought you might have it. Join the club! I hope it passes quickly for you guys. Good luck!

The monsoons have finally started here in NM, Gallup should get some rain, being close to the Continental Divide.

You weren’t kidding, Joe. Not the rain Florida gets, but the lightening is spectacular!

Roads are bad many places. I-10 got hit & damaged with several hurricanes in the past few years.
At least you know your Covid-19 results. Hope nothing gets really serious. Take care and take Tylenol (I think is the mantra). mask and gloves are a requirement for all of us this year.
Enjoy your trip and new home.
