Ooh, that’s a beauty. So many machines, so little room – I can relate.
For storing my Burroughs Comptometer I found a storage bin with an air-tight gasket sealed lid, it stays clean and neat even stored in my dirty garage.
Yeah. I’m not sure when they started. This thing sounds like a machine from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The carriage takes a little effort to return. Perhaps the draw band is too tight. Still, I have no complaints. I think there are some upscale models with the same body.
I like that idea, an RV full of typewriters while living in a tent.
Goose down sleeping bag and a tent heater for the days; teaching from the great outdoors classroom.

I’m hoping to gain access to my school office before the days get cold. There’s a strong bookcase in there. A nice home for typewriters.

Wow, what a nice machine! And QWERTY yet—I didn’t know Olympia made typewriters for US export in the 1930s.

That might work better with fewer RV neighbors.
