Formatting My Story for Cold Hard Type (Margin Releases)

Typing a clean page for the Cold Hard Type series is no easy task to accomplish. It reminds me a bit of performing on stage. Perfectly playing that guitar solo in the privacy of one’s own teenage bedroom is easy to do, but hitting notes perfectly for an audience is very different. The pressure to be perfect makes the experience imperfect.

I am no great typist. I drop my As, and the pressure I apply to keys is uneven. I am thankful for the use of computers at work. As the tautologists like to say, “It is what it is.”

I’m attaching my typescripts for my story, “Jesse and the UFO,” and my brief bio. U-Haul boxes are encroaching on my habitat, and I want to keep these documents in a tidy place. If time permits over the next month or so, I’ll have another go at typing clean copies.
