My Second SG1 Made Whole: Sell or Keep?

A friend of mine sent me a replacement cover for this SG1. (It arrived today.) I picked up the typewriter–dirty, sticky, and coverless–for $20.00 from a local antique dealer two weeks ago. I figured no one would buy it without a cover. Now it’s clean and complete. These machines sell for good money. Should I sell it or put it in my office at work? (I could dispense with a Royal KMM at work.) It has the same typeface as my other SG1. The cover is a little scratched up, but the guts are clean. The slugs were sluggish but now type speedily. I hammered out a dent in the back with a rubber mallet. I vacuumed out the decayed padding. I haven’t cleaned the keys yet, but this machine is ready to make words.
