    Yikes! Up to 20 pages… that’s a whole lot o’ words.

True. I wonder if there should be a minimum, too, so that stories are roughly the same length.

In the word doc he mention one to 20 pages roughly 4.5 x 7.5″. One page would probably be in the neighborhood of 500 words… I think.

The format is evolving due to the digital print-to-order requirements, I guess. It is now 6×9 page, but with one-inch margins 4×7 text. Length maximum is 5000 words.

(There are about 334 words on a typical double-spaced Time New Roman pt. 12 page.)

I think, generally speaking, we are looking for words that nicely fill out a page. Albeit fiction will be highlighted, poetry also is acceptable. I’m sure there will be different typecases (which will be cool to see) and different spacing based on writer’s intent.

Are you including flash fiction? I love this idea

Guidelines call for as little as a page, so I don’t see why not. Right now the great curiosity is to find out how many people would be interested. It is a fun idea. I started jotting down ideas for a story last night. (Great to take one’s mind off the world.)
