Sounds like a great time. I knew of nothing typewriter happening at all when I lived in FL. I did get a few typewriters and a nice Hi-Lo typewriter stand very very reasonably priced though.
I still don’t know what shape this event will take, but I was able to get my colleagues to sign off on showing the film. One colleague is a collector, too. Another one exhibits his old college typewriter in his office. Slowly but surely.
