    I was just listening to some lectures on writing by Joyce Carol Oates, who says that the very worst thing that can happen to a writer is interruption (by others or by one’s own bad habits).

    As for writing poetry for the public, I hope you’ll do it. Just don’t think of it as your own, intimate art; think of it as a social interaction that people will appreciate simply because you took the trouble to listen to them and generate some words in response.

      Well, I used to play music on stage. I just have to dive in, I guess. Not taking the writing too seriously would help. Thanks.

    Seems you may build or buy a cabin in the woods. A place you can write and she can create her art. A writers shed with giant doors that open to a patio facing the woods. It’d still be difficult to beat the place in your photos. A perfect office for creativity.
