I’ve been like a broken record ever since my high school Civics class; We need more than 2 major political parties. Party politics from either side will never represent the people. Most people don’t even vote let alone write their Senators and Representatives.

Worth noting that Citizen United isn’t legislation, but a contested (5-4) Supreme Court decision. Of course, it was also the Supreme Court who gave us George W. Bush, at the expense of the politician who of all in history has proved himself the most aware of the climate crisis, almost twenty years ago.

Did I already mention this in this blogs comments? We’re living in the dystopia at the end of Bradbury’s “A Sound of Thunder.” All right, who stepped on the butterfly?

Thanks for the correction, John. Ah the Bush years: the Patriot Act and the breach of the Geneva Convention; a war declared, without any evidence of WMDs, on a nation that had nothing to do with 9/11; and Florida’s undermining of a presidential election. At least we had a president who could speak better than Trump. He was the Great Deciderer.
