Typewriter Inventory and Storage

on

Life is moving quickly. Until I sign my name on a form, I’ll remain somewhat vague in my posts. That said, I shall have to figure out what to do with my typewriters soon enough. Let’s just say that RV living will require some small living, and climate control storage is not an option on the table. Eventually there will be office space, which is where the bulk of my machines will have to go.

I’ve been mentally cataloging my inventory. I may have missed one or two machines. I figure I’ll keep two standards in the RV: SG1 and Underwood 6. Then I’ll have space for six or so portables: Olympia SM3 (Italics), Hermes 3000, (robot), Erika 10, Optima 3, Erika 5 (for pure beauty), Olympia Simplex. If possible, I’d really like to bring the Halda 6, too. That will take some serious thought.

Why does climate control matter? Let’s just say that there will be a low of 28 degrees tomorrow night–in the middle of May. Not good for typewriter rubber.

    Nice inventory.

Climate control is always best for nearly everything. Moving typewriters can be fun.

Not sure the HTML code will work, you may need to copy and paste the links in the quotes.
