Glad your trip is going good.
Seems like checking all the connections on the RV battery circuit for cleanness & tightness. Hopefully it is something simple because many modern vehicles have the voltage regulator integrated into the alternator requiring an expensive part rather than an economical replacement. A loose alternator belt will also prevent proper charging.
The desert SW sky is amazing. I spent many nights either on the desert or up on the Sandia Mountains when I did some work in Albuquerque. Winter sky in MT is great also.
    Enjoy your adventure.

Thanks, Bill. We are pulling a travel trailer, so it probably isn’t as complex as that. Fingers crossed. I am looking forward to much stargazing. I need a nice, portable telescope in Gallup.

Check the connectors on your vehicle and on the trailer for dirt or corrosion on the contacts. WD-40 is not good for typewriters, but it is good for coating connector contacts. CRC Contct cleaner is generally available at WalMart also. DeOxit works best, but it is much more expensive and still needs a top coat of protection.

Vinnie, when you get settled in Gallup I have a large astronomy binocular that’s not being used (Zhumell 25×100), plus a stand for it that lets you stargaze while reclining in a lawn chair.

Too generous of you, Joe! Thank you! I’m not sure if you enjoy a good beverage, but, if so, perhaps a good whiskey for proper bartering is on the way.
