You’ll find things dry out several times faster than they do in Florida. It’s unlikely mold will be a problem! (The Royal’s rust must have developed during the move.)

I worried a lot about nuclear war when I was a kid in the ’70s. We somehow escaped that, and now it looks, despite it not being a sure thing, that most of us will have made it through the dystopian last four years. I’m hopeful.

I hope so. It isn’t that I doubt that this will come to an end, but I do dread sporadic violence. I can imagine gunmen showing up to voting sites, even if simply as a show of intimidation. I can imagine another rise in mass shootings. Social media will continue to spew its idiotic conspiracies. Then things will settle down, and hopefully there will be measures to prevent another Trump from rising to power.

Anyway, I hope you are doing well. I look forward to responding to a recent letter. I hope that my typing improves. I partly wonder if the virus has impacted my focus.

I doubt anything molds in New Mexico like it does in FL.
There is always typewriter maintenance after a move. Mine were moved with little consideration for padding inside cases, and done by fellow I doubt knew much about packing them. I lost one (mover’s) and the only damage was a plastic Adler case top. Many of the machines did show the places needed attention though.
The nice thing about living in your RV is you can tell everyone you are part of the Tiny House fad.

There’s much to say for this lifestyle, and my storage unit is just across the road. But I sit outside as often as possible. Man I need elbow room. I’m 6’4”. Winter will be interesting.
