I wish you the best, the cold temps can be challenging even with a fixed dwelling.

Beautiful blanket of white. I don’t think our horses would stand still long enough for a photo during the first snow. My girlfriend and I had horses in VA. They loved the cold and snow and bucked at each other and most anything else.

We stayed in MT in the snow and temperatures in the teens and used the propane furnace in the camper, set a fire alarm and a few CO detectors.

I used the same RV in PA on my friend’s farm when I lived in VA and stayed in PA. Some nights I’d use the furnace, others I’d sleep in my sleeping bag and let the cold of the morning awaken me.

There are challenges to remote learning and no high speed internet. I read a news story about a 4th grade student who’d walk to school every morning and work outside so he could get WIFI since he had none at home.

    Enjoy the winter.

Will do. Having a few CO detectors—good advice. I’d use gas in that case. So far I’ve used the furnace for 30 mins in the morning, just to get the day started. Cooking inside helps, too.
