Beautiful phono. I’ve always loved those with the big morning glory shaped horns. Yours sound great also. Congratulation on your house.

I had to look closely at the typeface. Techno Pica. It is very close to the very elusive Epoca. Epoca is easiest noticed by round o rather than the more squared o in Techno Pica. There are a few other differences also that I don’t recall at them moment. I like Techno Pica.

Congratulations on the house! You’ll be glad to put down some roots.

I bought a typewriter from John Lewis. A beautifully restored Royal P. He does good work.

Did you receive the letter I sent to Texas in January?

I did, John. I’ve been most delinquent in my correspondence. Part of it has to do with not being settled, I think. Perhaps I’ll be able to think now.

    Great news about the house!
I’m sure John Lewis would be worth a visit. I haven’t been able to do that, but I’ve sent him a machine that he fixed beautifully. He is a master.

Thanks, Richard. I wonder if John Lewis attends Joe Van Cleave’s type-ins.

Congrats on the house— and the phonograph. My friend Kevin has experience rebuilding the wind-up motor on a Victrola.

John is too busy to attend type outs; he did attend our first one, but hasn’t since, he has all the work he needs.

Thanks, Joe. Once life returns to some kind of normal, I’ll have to take a drive to Albuquerque.
