Sounds like you are having some enjoyable outings. I’ve not mountain miked for about 10 years, but if I’m correct, I think I remember a tough tire that will not puncture. I forget the material used to make it or if it had a special liner.
These latest tubes were very thick. It might have been a defective tube. I’m heading out on another trail tomorrow—forest instead of desert. Should be okay.
