Besides formal Engineering Reports I used to write technical manuals for machines I built or designed. There had to be some creative writing in them so others unfamiliar with the subjects would understand.
Makes sense, but the part of me that creates stories requires a different mental state than the part of me that critiques stories. They overlap at some point, but daydreaming is its own special place.
