Beautiful area. Snow hikes can often be challenging. One thing I found is that cross country skiing and snow shoes give a person a great work out. Still better than sinking into knee deep snow.
Hoping to take the skis out tomorrow or next week—if enough snow accumulates nearby. None of this snow compares to what I saw in New England in my youth, but it certainly beats sandy Florida.
