Dear Typewriter Insurgency,

One of my students broke a key segment on a Royal Aristocrat (SN#1007562/1941). I’m not sure how she did it, but the “J” key segment broke in half. I do wonder if sibling machines have the exact same part (Arrow, Companion, etc.). Perhaps even a Quiet De Luxe. Does anyone have a parts machine out there? I’m happy to pay. (I suppose I can transplant a less important segment from the same row, too.)
