I also canvassed for Hillary, the first time I’ve done anything of the sort, because I thought the alternative was horrible. I do not think I was mistaken. But no, she is definitely not a viable candidate for 2020. My prediction is that Nikki Haley will be the first female president, maybe in 2024 or 2028.
I would prefer a Kamala Harris, but I see the logic in your prediction. Haley has done an interesting job maintaining a distance from Trump’s crude and insane circus. The first woman president being a republican would echo the rise of Thatcher. Eek. I don’t want to think about Thatcher.
