Great assignment. I found the courses I had that required outside of the classroom assignments I may not have understood the why of the extra work when I was in school, and now I find many decades later, they were the classes I learned the most from, and look back upon them with many fond memories. Those classes also prepared me much better for college than book learning only.
Thank you. What I find challenging are all the ways I have to anticipate how students might avoid doing the work. I require selfies to make sure the photos were not lifted from the Internet. Technology is exhausting.
I do know that some students enjoyed the assignments. So there is some hope!
