    I can see exactly what you mean. I also notice that replies are well engineered. The respondents use complete sentences and sometimes structured paragraphs too. That in itself show way more effort than 👍.

    Good observations. It does feel kind of like typewriting on a manual, in comparison to a quick post on Facebook, for example. Especially my platform, Blogger, has been difficult recently in enabling comments; I’ve found it necessary to enable private browsing before I’m permitted to login to comment on another Blogger-based blog.

    But I especially like the archival nature of blogs. It’s relatively easy to find past postings, even from years ago. Try doing that on Facebook!
