Good to see you settled on the Royal O. They are nice typewriters.
Than model P is beautiful. Sometimes all the old typewriters need is a bit of use. Other times a bit of cleaning and some oil in the few places needing it.
The O was very nice but useless to my big hands. The P is coming along. Originally the carriage never moved. I can’t remember how I fixed that. Then it took a small spill when I got back to Florida. The mechanics got jammed. That took a while to figure out. It could use some new rubber, too. If this typewriter were a person, the medical bills would be exorbitant.
